Description
This photo was an unexpected mistake. The light leak was not planned but I liked it.
The concept behind this one is related to my previous work The Golden Dream. If you look into the first photo you'll see a young lady touching the water. The irony in this one is that the persons walking away from the Light are two old ladies. When I looked at the two photos closely I realised that people get older when they walk away from the Light around.
So let's stay young, shall we?

Overall
Vision Originality Technique ImpactI really like this photo. The description is very insightful and inspirational. You seem to put a lot more thought into your photographs than I put into mine. This is very creative also, because, as you said, the light in the right side reflects a sort of life force if you will, and since the old people are walking away from it, it seem as if they are giving up on the world of light. Maybe this wasn't the illusion you necessarily wanted to create, but I think it is a very effective piece of work.
The Tree that branches off on the right of the picture also could symbolize the couple walking down to the river.
Overall, I think this is quite a good photography, as the other critic said, it's not your best, but definitely not your worst.
