Description

I've been reading in the last 2 days a Persian poem by the 12th century astronomer and poet Omar Khayyàm. While reading the short quatrains I started moving them around in my head and found some interesting and personal sense in what seemed to be a simple lecture.

Quatrain 39:
How long, how long in infinite pursuit
Of this and that endeavor and dispute?
[...]

Quatrain 4:
Now the New Year reviving old desires,
The thoughtful Soul to Solitude retires...
